Ready for the season!

The Lincolnville Center General Store is looking pretty! We are ready for the Holiday Season to begin!  Our Farmers' Markets have moved across the street to the former "Grampa Hall's" antique store at 6 Heal rd, and we will miss having the markets in the store, but without heat, it's just to chilly this time of year...

We do still have a few surprises up our sleeves though, so stay tuned for further announcements and updates!!

Center General's kitchen addition removal.

Today the kitchen was removed from the side of the Center General Store. We suspect there is an older gas tank hiding underneath the kitchen, and the only way to find out is to dig.. so dig we must... The removal of the kitchen addition is a positive thing, after removal of the old gas tank,  it means we can rebuild a more efficient, functional kitchen next spring... a kitchen built to feed a variety of appetites..

Its nice to see the original footprint of the store.. and imagine what it looked like when it was built two hundred years ago..

I'll post some photos tomorrow.. but thought i might help explain to you all why the kitchen came off today, lots of folks were asking...
